The short version.

Paxt uses Apple's Screen Time to block apps and websites you choose using timers, schedules and allowed budgets. Wait for the block to end, or reach an optional activity goal to earn access. Hardcore commitments have no tap-out option. Read the commitment before you confirm it.

The app license is governed by Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement. Purchases are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew until cancelled in your Apple ID settings.

Guardian mode lets the paired phones exchange commitments, requests, status and derived activity summaries through the guardian's private iCloud storage. Paxt's developer has no administrative access to those records and cannot browse, retrieve or export them using a developer account.

The app on the paired phones can read the shared records to provide Guardian mode. Pairing does not grant that access to Paxt's developer. Our privacy policy explains the shared information, permissions and deletion, and the information you may choose to send when contacting support.

Paxt reads fitness numbers to open apps. It is not a medical or fitness program and makes no health claims.
